John Mallen - President and CEO
John has extensive experience in journalism, public affairs and public relations. He served for nine years as Associate Director of the Business Financial News Department of Carl Byoir & Associates, Inc., where he established the company's Far East Division, providing support to clients in Japan, China and other parts of the world. After Carl Byoir's merger with Hill and Knowlton, John served as Senior Vice President, managing regional, national and international accounts, including AlliedSignal Inc., Eastman Kodak, Engelhard Corporation, Glaxo PLC, Honeywell, Steelcase, Metropolitan Life Insurance and Northwestern Mutual Life.
Previously, John was Associate Director of Information for the Committee for Economic Development, a group of Fortune 200 CEOs and university presidents; a technical editor for The Regional Plan Association in New York; a staff editor of the Manpower Development Research Corporation and a staff reporter for the Providence Journal-Bulletin newspaper in Rhode Island. John is a graduate of Providence College and holds a MPA from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
Passionate about the art and science of communications, John is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators, the Counselor's Academy for the Public Relations Society of America, the Council of Public Relations Firms and Public Relations Global Network. John also serves as a board member for the Safe America Foundation and is a past board member of the Chamber of Commerce of Ulster County.

Sandy Frinton
Sandy Frinton is a senior-level PR executive and media specialist with 20 years of experience, who brings her journalism background to her role as Director of Media Relations at JMC to deliver stories for clients that journalists want to cover. Her expertise includes writing and distributing traditional and Web 2.0 press releases; successfully pitching and placing stories for clients; and managing PR programs for global businesses.
She has experience handling communications and media relations for international businesses for new product launches; major acquisitions and business sales; plant closures and layoffs; and business restructurings in the U.S. and globally.
In addition to media relations, Sandy writes e-newsletters, corporate letters from CEOs, bylined stories, annual reports and other communications to employees, customers, shareholders and other audiences.

Gretchen Reed - Director of Editorial Services
Gretchen brings over 20 years of experience in advertising and marketing to her position as Director of Editorial Services. Her clients include Performance Fibers, the world's largest producer of technical textiles; Messe Frankfurt, a global trade show management firm; and Polymer Group, Inc., a leading nonwovens producer.
Gretchen is also the founder and managing director of Persuasive Knowledge, a Hudson Valley-based marketing communications and research firm, with clients including the Greene County Chamber of Commerce and the Ulster County Board of REALTORS.
Prior to joining JMC, she was a research director at Euro RSCG, a leading international advertising agency, where she worked with a diverse group of clients including Intel, MCI, Volvo, Nestle and Schering Plough. As account manager on the Ramada and Parker Pen accounts, she was responsible for the initiation and execution of all marketing, creative, media and strategic planning projects for the brands.
The author of several books and articles on advertising and marketing, Gretchen received a master's degree in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University. As an adjunct instructor, she developed and taught the Business Communications for SUNY New Paltz's Center for International Programs. Gretchen is a graduate of the Ulster County Leadership Institute and has participated on the boards of several Hudson Valley civic and cultural organizations, serving for many years as president of the D&H Canal Historical Society & Museum in High Falls.

Brian Feldman
Brian Feldman is a veteran public relations practitioner and journalist working worldwide with franchise organizations and public and private businesses from Fortune 500 companies to start-up entrepreneurial businesses.
Active in the hotel, hospitality and restaurant industry, his experience includes seven years as Director of Public Relations for Cendant, international franchiser of more than 6,000 multi-branded hotels, real estate firms and car-rental companies. He later worked on high-profile accounts including spirit brands Courvoisier and Makers Mark at a leading New York public relations agency. His franchise experience includes public relations and crisis communications for McDonald’s leading South Florida co-op.
His work has received Gold, Silver and Bronze Golden Bell Awards from Hospitality Sales and Marketing International, among others. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business/journalism from Temple University and attended graduate school there.
